We are planning to vote on a bylaws change during our April 16th GMM. The board accepted a task force recommendation that the Audit Committee merge with the Finance Committee, the Equal Opportunity in Housing Committee merge with the Education/Program Committee, and the Strategic Planning, Building and Technology Committees be removed as standing committees (the board will assign a task force when needed). The thinking behind this is to be respectful of our Members' time and ensure that our committees are running efficiently (so they are not just meeting to meet, but have actual business to complete). Members: we require a quorom of members to vote on this bylaws change, so please plan to attend!
