MISSION STATEMENT: the Central Michigan Association of REALTORS® is dedicated
to promoting private property rights, and the advancement of its member's
interests, professionalism and privileges.
Requirements and Fees of Membership
Thinking of becoming a REALTOR®? If so, the following will guide you through
the process of doing so.
If you currently hold an active Michigan real estate license and have become
active with a broker that is already a REALTOR® member, all you need to do
is complete the REALTOR® Membership Application and the MLS Participation
Agreement, along with the Application Fee and Dues payment to the
Association. Other requirement to membership is attendance of a two-day
Orientation program within 60 day of application.
The following are the 2008 Association Dues for New Members:

New Member Dues / Fees above include $100 application fee, as well as
prorated local, state and national dues, state processing advocacy fees and
national assessment fees. Orientation is mandatory within 60 days for New
Members.
If you currently hold an active Michigan Brokers real estate licensee and have
opened a real estate company as a sole proprietorship, corporation,
partnership or L.L.C., all you need to do is complete the REALTOR®
Membership Application and the MLS Participation Agreement, along with the
MLS Office Fee, Application Fee and Dues payment to the Association. Other
requirements of membership are attendance to a two-day Orientation program
within 60 day of application and payment of monthly MLS Fees, times the
number of agents in your firm. Each broker will be invoiced for MLS fees on
a monthly basis of $45.00 per agent.
